why juice?
I know so many moms who give their toddlers juice every day. I can’t figure out why. Nate drinks water and milk (and sometimes a little non-caff tea) — that’s it. He has had juice. In fact, he really likes juice. But he also really likes ice cream, chips, and hot chocolate and I don’t dole them out as a regular part of his daily diet. Nate eats a lot of fruit and well, some veggies. He also eats fortified cereals like oatmeal and Cheerios. Plus he gets a vitamin. So is he missing something in his diet by not drinking juice?
Maybe he’s missing all that extra sugar and empty calories?
I’m not trying to be preachy or anything. But really, all things in moderation, right?
